No Barriers: Better Care.

Rock Solid is a direct pay practice and is not in-network with insurance carriers. This allows us to best fulfill our vision of delivering exceptional and personalized care to all clients with no restrictions or hidden costs that insurance networks frequently create.

What is the cost of each session?

The base rate for sessions are as follows:

  1. Physical Therapy: $200/hour
  2. Health and Performance Testing: $200/test
  3. Performance Training: $100/hour
  4. Pain Management Sessions: $75/half-hour

However, most clients take advantage of visit package discounts and pay rates much lower than these!

Why would I pay directly instead of using my insurance?

Physical therapy (and other medical care) that is "in-network" is typically more expensive as health systems will negotiate higher rates with insurance providers to cover their overhead. Additionally, insurance providers dictate and limit the type and extent of care that can be provided, so you end up paying more for lower quality care!

Doesn't insurance make my therapy free?

Absolutely not! Most policies require you meet your deductible before they begin covering according to your co-insurance rate (usually 80%), which means you'll have to hit your deductible and then pay 20% of your sessions until you hit your out-of-pocket maximum. For many people this can be nearly $10,000 worth of medical expenses! Plus, with insurance-based rates, this means significantly fewer sessions than you could get through Rock Solid with lower quality of care along the way.

Can my insurance reimburse me?

After your session, your provider at Rock Solid can create a Superbill (receipt) which you can submit to your insurance provider to be reimbursed according to your policy's out-of-network benefits.

How many visits will I need?

Rock Solid practices very differently than traditional physical therapy practices. We believe in providing maximal value each session to reduce the total time and financial burden to you. While the total amount of visits will vary depending on the client's needs and goals, our clients are typically seen 1-2 times per month, whereas traditional settings rack up massive bills and time constraints with patients being scheduled 2-3 times per week!

If I have Medicare or Tricare, can you help me?

Due to federal law, physical therapists are not able to opt-out of Medicare and accept direct payment from Medicare beneficiaries unless the service you are requesting is not generally covered by Medicare. Services through Rock Solid which Medicare does not cover include dry needling, performance training, metabolic rate testing, and VO2 Max testing.
